 New Partnership for Polypix - 01-09-2007

Polypix is the the canvas printing department of Impsport, that is now working in partnership with Steve Collins from http://www.momofoto.co.uk to supply canvases from his images at Jettydogs events.

Jettydogs is newly introduced into the UK, under the name of Dockdogs. Dockdogs has become very popular in America, since it’s introduction in 2000, as it combines people’s love of competition with their love of dogs.  It is a highly accessible sport, allowing anyone with a dog and a ball to participate.

The sport also has great spectator appeal, as it takes place in an outdoor temporary pool. The dog waits for its owner to throw its favourite toy into the water then runs along the runway and launches itself into the pool. The judges measure the distance from the runway that the dog achieves before it hits the water, and the dog that jumps the furthest is the winner. It is easy to understand for adults and children alike.  The adults can appreciate the athleticism of the dogs, and the sheer enjoyment they exhibit, and the children just love the water and the chance to get thoroughly wet!

This is another example of how Polypix can take your image, and make it something special. Anyone who takes photographs, however good or bad, at some time would like to reproduce that special picture to a larger size; it could be a photograph of someone's wedding, a graduation, prize giving or a sports event. Not only will we print your image to a larger size but also when we do, we print it on to a special canvas cloth that gives your picture a texture that has been compared to specially commissioned painting. We even mount our pictures using the same stretcher frame as an artist uses to hold his canvas.
